Rifle Range Closed for Season, Birds are stocked! Other updates!


Happy Fall!! A few reminders for events below, tis the season to get out and shoot so we hope to see you out!

Tuesday Night Dinner and Shooting continues through the fall – get your round in early and stay for dinner! Open to all!

REMINDER  – Sunday, October 1st – Rifle Range CLOSED for the season. A huge thanks to all of our rifle range members – the range was kept neat and never had issues for the entire year – we appreciate all of our shooters and for those of you who just shoot rifle – come on out this fall and we will get you hooked on clay shooting!

Tuesday, October 3rd – 100 Bird Shoot and Dinner – Syracuse Boy Scout Shoot, NSCA and Hunter Class, register online at www.winscoreonline.org, $200 registration includes lunch, shoot, dinner and reception. Open to all.

Saturday, October 14th – Annual Tower Shoot – Only 2 and a half stations left – two guns per station, $450 per gun. Closed to 600 pheasants thrown last year, a great day in the field! Entry includes Saturday shoot, clean-up hunt and Sunday hunt.

October three Bird Shoot – Date TBD – Break out your semi-auto’s for a day of fun on sporting clays! ( Of course as you know – three bird can be shot every day on the course – get ready for Hunting season!)

Book you pheasant hunts now! A few October days open, members save 10% on birds!

Pheasant Members – fields are being stocked this week – please stop in the clubhouse on your first day out, sign in log will be out front, all members MUST log-in for every time out in the field – keeps everyone safe!

Gun cleaning and tune-up Special $75 – Get your gun all set for hunting season and let the VNSP crew do the work! We will clean and run through your gun, sighting in, repairs etc as needed as well, call us or bring gun in.

Need a new gun? Want to trade? Stop in – we can get you set up, weather you are looking for your next new shotgun or rifle we can help! Browning, Beretta, Tikka, Savage and more – we will find one to fit the bill!

Thanks to all of our Corporate Night Participants – Our final September Corporate Night brought in over 50 shooters, 12 teams and some great scores – a few of those rounds shot in near darkness! Riverhawk – with a single shooter, was high score with a 42!! Second place team was OMP  and third was Quality Manufacturing – Lots of great scores and always a good event! HOA for the evening was a tie – Paul Marzella and Dave Cruger – with scores of 45. Look forward to another successful year of Corporate nights next season – Thank for the support of all!
