2018 David M. Philipson Memorial Sporting Clays Tournament
On July 22th, the Leatherstocking Council will hold its annual Sporting Clays tournament. The proceeds from this tournament will go into the shooting sports program of the Leatherstocking Council. The program focuses on teaching scouts about firearms safety, proper use and responsible ownership of firearms.

– 100 Bird Shoot (Limited to 150 shooters)
– Registered Targets
– Side Games
– BBQ Lunch Included with entry. Lunch for Spectators $20/person
– Prizes, Awards and Raffles
– Early Bird – $85 by June 1st
– Base Price $100 Per Shooter
Event Schedule:
8:30 am – Registration (Coffee and Donuts will be provided)
10:00 am – Shotgun Start
Noon – BBQ Lunch, Awards, Prizes
There will be a limited number shotguns available for rent at $40 each, and golf carts at $35 each. Please contact the facility ahead of time to reserve yours.

Vernon National Shooting Preserve offers sporting clays at its finest. Conveniently located in Central New York, our 16 station sporting clays course is fully automated. We continually change our target presentations, so the course is always new. The course is set on through open fields, hardwoods and over deep ravines. Whether you are a Master Class NSCA registered shooter looking for competition, or just a casual shotgun shooter looking for some fun, we have it all.
