Vernon National has decided to host our annual Veterans’ Benefit Sporting Clays Shoot and continue our efforts to support our local Veterans through this event.
Given the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be taking extra measures in order to safely host this event.
Cost will be $100 and include 100 bird sporting clays, BBQ lunch, Benefit Clear Path for Vets.
Appropriate social distancing will be enforced and supported –
- All entrants will be required to pre-register and pre-pay
- Please self-sqaud and indicate when you register, squads will be maximum 5, NOTE: individuals can choose to shoot by themselves.
- There will be a trapper on every station to avoid any contact with equipment, each shooter/squad will keep their own score cards
- Each squad will have an assigned start station, avoiding any interaction with squad ahead or behind.
- There will be no award ceremony or gathering
- There will be a box BBQ takeout (Ray Bothers’ BBQ) provided for each shooter
- Registered Shooter scores will be posted online following event

Hi Darcy and Ron,
Just a short note to let you know that we will not be able to
attend the Veteran’s Benefit Shoot. Gaby told me that she sent
you a text regarding our attendance, but I wanted to put my
two cents in too. We are sorry as it is always a fun event, but
this darn virus has changed everything. I would like to say that
we are not “old” but we have to go with the numbers. We hope
that you have a good attendance and good weather. We will see
you all soon. Stay safe.
