Our continental style tower shoots are one of a kind – a great day in the field! This was a long time-honored tradition of the kings of Europe. Up to 12 shooting stations through the woods and into the field surrounding a 30-foot tall tower/lift. One to three hunters (only two shooting at a time) will man each station. Pheasants will then be released one at a time.  We will rotate stations after releasing 30 birds, giving every shooter the opportunity at a different angle each time. They provide fast action and multiple shooting opportunities for everyone. Our tower shoot offers a unique outdoor activity for all, including corporate entertaining and fundraising. Tower shoots are a relaxing and social alternative to traditional Hunting. 

Each group will be appointed a guide and dog to show you around and retrieve downed birds. Birds retrieved will be collected and cleaned for you to take home. After the event you will enjoy a fully stocked open bar back at our lodge, as you sit back and enjoy laughter and stories from the other shooters.

We are all about safety here at Vernon National Shooting Preserve. You are only allowed to use 2 3/4 inch shells and no shot larger than #6. You must wear eye protection at all times, as well as a safety orange vest. Don’t worry if you don’t have all this stuff.
