ver 20 years ago, my father Ron set up a personal shooting spot to enjoy with his sons on the old family farm. This quickly started drawing old friends and several new ones to the point my father and I decided to turn it into a business venture. When I wasn’t pursuing my career at BPAS (Retirement plan administration) or raising my children, you could find me at the club running day to day operations, setting targets, and running events. Over the years I have stayed involved as much as possible as the business continued to grow.
In 2011 I became certified as a NSCA Level 1 Instructor and have helped many shooters over years. For many years I have been a NSCA registered shooter attending events now and then as a shooter with intentions of learning more about the business, networking, and advertising. In the past I owned and raised Brittany pups, one, Deuce, that I raised, trained and guide hunts with for several years. After 21 years with BPAS, in 2024 I finally made the decision to change careers and join the family business full time. This has been an amazing decision giving more time to do what I love. I am traveling to more shoots now and looking for my next hunting dog. I hope to use much of what I learned from my office career to help with the family business and I am enjoying the availability to schedule more lessons and work with our SFTP team.
