Thanks to all who came out for Vernon National’s First Annual Chili Cook-off! The winner of the cook-off was one very special lady, Peg Acee, Ron’s mom who made a great venison chili, hope to post that recipe soon.
There were six chili entries, and over 30 votes entered,lots of variety – hot to mild and made from venison, beef, and even moose and goose! Thank you to all of our cooks and our tasters.
