100 Round, 3 Bird Shoot – A great time to get ready for hunting season, break out your semi-automatic for this one – 3 target combinations on every station – true pairs, reports and singles will keep you moving!
$40 for event, $10 Breakfast – Pancakes, sausage, bacon and eggs! Breakfast available from 8:30 – 10:00 am
All rounds must be complete by 1 pm for scoring

Sunday September 13th – 1st shoots Clinic – Vernon National Shooting Preserve will be hosting another NSSF sponsored First Shots seminar on September 13th at 12 noon. This is a live fire shotgun event with an emphasis on safety, education, responsible gun ownership, and fun. There is no cost for this introductory class and is intended for those with little to no experience. All equipment is provided. Pre-registration is a must. Limited to 5 students 12 and over. Saturday – September 19th : NRA Ladies and Youth Day – 9am- 2 pm. Ladies of all ages & Youth 12 -18 yr are welcome for guided pheasant hunting, sporting clays and trap. Free adventure provided by grants from Friends of the NRA. Light breakfast, lunch and snacks provided. Bring shotgun, hearing protection and eye protection.

Saturday – September 26th : NRA Pistol Permit Course. Pistol permit course at Vernon National on Saturday, 9 a.m . Pre-registration is required. The course is $50. Saturday October 10th: “Bust a Clay for Breast Cancer” Shoot – 50 Bird Shoot with Lunch, Great giveaways for every shooter, free long sleeve tees for shooters with sponsors, bonus station and more!! Participants rotate through stations 2 Turns, Participants have hunting rights for all day Sunday as well, closed to others. $900 per station, 30 birds per man thrown on Saturday. Includes dinner Friday Night, Saturday lunch after shoot.
